
Here’s a recipe for making savory sesame crackers that are gluten free. These crispy snacks are calling out to be scooped into your favourite dip: hommus, tsaziki, guacamole; all perfect partners for these crackers!
What you’ll need
- 1 cup wholesome flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 cup white sesame seeds
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3 Tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 tbsp olive oil and 2 tbsp sesame seeds, for the top of the crackers
Method
- Preheat the oven to 190°C
- In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, seeds, baking powder and salt and mix
- Then add the oil and water and bring the dough together with your hands
- Flatten the dough out into a lined baking tray and score into desired cracker shape
- Brush the top of the crackers with olive oil and sprinkle on the remaining sesame seeds
- Bake for 15 minutes or until golden
- Cool before slicing
