This is a recipe for gluten free chocolate custard which is delicious served warm or cold. A rich, creamy custard that’s packed with chocolately taste and calling out to be eaten. Amazing with ice cream, cream or sprinkled with dark chocolate.
What you need for this gluten free chocolate custard recipe
- 400 ml milk
- 100g dark chocolate
- 1/4 cup cocoa
- 1 packet (250g) Gluten Free Custard Powder
- 400 ml water
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- Heat milk, cocoa and chocolate in a medium saucepan on a low heat until melted and combined.
- Pour milk into a large bowl; add custard powder, water and oil and whisk until you’re happy with the consistency. Add additional water if you prefer a consistency closer to pouring custard.
- Once cooled, top with cream and strawberries or sprinkle with grated chocolate. This custard is also great when eaten warm.
